Lissette is an up and coming model in Hartford, Connecticut.
We shot at Riverside Park in Hartford, which is great in the early morning. Lots of soft light and great locations, including a playground, the gazebo and the walkway over Route 91.
Mortensen Riverfront Plaza in Hartford, CT is another of my favorite outdoor locations. Go just before sunset and the lighting is amazing and the variety of locations just cannot be beat.
Carlina is a new model in Hartford and was a delight to work with.
Back to FNS Studios for their July Group Shoot. Lesley has these once a month and they are a great meet and greet opportunity as well as a chance to expand your portfolio.
They have a terrific space to work in, both indoors and outdoors and the models, hair stylists and makeup artist are always first rate.

I like to use Enders State Forest as a location for its waterfalls. I often use it for first shoots with a new model. Kristi is a professional dancer in Connecticut who travels quite a bit. For our shoot she combined dance and yoga and we created some great images.
Elizabeth Park in Hartford, CT is the oldest municipally operated rose garden in the country. It makes for a great place to shoot. I have shot there several times with CONNetic Dance
The roses come into full bloom at the start of summer, so I set up a shoot with one of my belly dancing models Lisa, AKA Carrara Nour. As a professional dancer, Lisa collects belly dance costumes like photographers collect equipment. And she had just acquired some new ones and was ready to do a shoot.
Went out to a favorite spot nearby, Enders State Forest. There are some great water falls that are easily accessible. I have shot there with several models. This time out it was with CONNetic Dance. They planned out what they wanted and we got to it.

Ok, So it’s actually March, but I have gotten my new sites up.
So just after the new year, Amy wanted to do a Yoga in the Snow shoot. So we went out to Saville Dam in Barkhamsted, CT. It wasn’t too cold and we got some great stuff.
